Dr Marcin Jarzemski Among the Tutors Delivering Practical Training to Young Urologists from Across Europe

The latest edition of the European Urology Residents Education Programme (EUREP 2026), one of Europe’s leading educational events for physicians undergoing specialist training in urology, took place in the Czech Republic. Organised under the auspices of the European Association of Urology (EAU), the course brings together urology residents and renowned experts from across Europe and around the world.

At this year’s edition, Dr Marcin Jarzemski, representing our Clinic, was the only participant from Poland among the international instructors. He took part as a tutor in the hands-on training workshops organised as part of the activities of the European School of Urology (ESU).

EUREP is an important component of the European specialist training system in urology. Its programme combines lectures and discussions led by experienced specialists with practical sessions designed to help participants refine their surgical skills.

The hands-on training workshops are a particularly important part of the course, allowing young urologists to practise surgical techniques using specialised training devices and simulators. Tutors play a key role in these sessions by directly supervising practical exercises, demonstrating correct surgical techniques and providing individual guidance and practical feedback.

Dr Marcin Jarzemski’s participation as a tutor highlights his commitment to international educational initiatives and to advancing modern approaches to procedural training in urology.

The presence of a representative of our Clinic among European instructors also reflects the active contribution of Polish specialists to shaping urological education standards at an international level.

Engagement in educational initiatives led by the European Association of Urology provides an opportunity not only to share clinical expertise but also to strengthen collaboration with leading European centres and bring best practices in medical training into the everyday work of our Clinic.
