Last week, on October 25-26, 2024 the Conference of the Polish Andrological Society took place in Szczecin. Andrology is a field of medicine that focuses on men’s health, especially in the context of the reproductive and hormonal systems. It is closely related to urology because it deals with the diagnosis and treatment of problems such as infertility, erectile dysfunction and prostate diseases.

The conference speakers also included representatives of the Urology Clinic. Prof. Piotr Jarzemski presented a lecture on sexual function disorders in men after radical prostatectomy and dr n. med. Bartosz Brzoszczyk explained how testosterone deficiency affects a man’s cognitive functions.
