Dr. Bartosz Brzoszczyk, MD, PhD, FEBU (Fellow of the European Board of Urology), certified andrologist of the Polish Society of Andrology and the European Academy of Andrology (EAA), completed a one-month clinical fellowship at the Andrology and Male Infertility Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar.
The Andrology and Male Infertility Unit at Hamad Medical Corporation is a certified training center of the European Academy of Andrology (EAA). The unit holds the status of an accredited training center and serves as a reference center in the Middle East for the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility as well as advanced clinical andrology.
The training program includes comprehensive diagnostics of male fertility disorders, treatment of hormonal disorders, andrological surgery, and modern microsurgical techniques. During the fellowship, Dr. Bartosz Brzoszczyk further developed his skills in:
- microsurgical treatment of varicocele,
- microsurgical sperm retrieval techniques (including micro-TESE),
- reconstructive andrological procedures,
- penile prosthesis implantation for the treatment of advanced erectile dysfunction.
The training was conducted under the supervision of internationally recognized experts in the field of andrology:

Haitham ElBardisi, MD;
Prof. Mohamed Arafa, MD;
Dr. Ahmad Al Malki, MD.
The completed fellowship has enabled the introduction of microsurgical procedures in our hospital, including modern techniques in andrological surgery. Thanks to the experience gained, patients will have access to advanced surgical techniques performed in accordance with current international standards and guidelines.
This represents another step in the development of our center and the expansion of highly specialized urological and andrological procedures available locally.
