Recently Dr. Damian Peterson, MD – resident at the Clinic of Urology, University Hospital No. 2. Dr. Jan Biziel, have had an opportunity to undergo training at the renowned robotic surgery centre – ORSI Academy in Belgium.

The course was led by a famous specialist in robotic urology, Prof. Dr. Alex Mottrie. During two days of training, Dr. Peterson was able to improve skills using the da Vinci robotic system and master basic robotic surgery techniques under the supervision of specialists.

The training was a reward for taking 1st place in the Gorzów Robot Challenge 2023 – the 1st National Championship of Doctors and Medical Students on a Surgical Robot Simulator, which took place in June this year.
